About the operator

We are an association of residents of our residential complex who want to make the 19th district even more liveable and car-free. Our project "Neighborhood on the Move" was funded by the City of Vienna and the umbrella organization of Viennese social institutions via the Vienna Social Innovation Fund.

The project aims to show that even in a hilly district like Döbling, it is possible to cover many distances by bike. The aim is to make our residential area more liveable. The traffic volume of cars is to be reduced and more safe cycle paths are to be built and used.

The bicycle is primarily used in our immediate neighborhood for daily trips such as shopping or children's cabs, but is also available for use by everyone else.
